Hydrogen-Based Power Generation

Hydrogen-based power generation and fuel cell systems

BLOOH Solution provides sustainable, fast-response, low-emission power generation by integrating hydrogen fuel, high-efficiency fuel cells and modular storage. Systems can stabilize the grid and deliver resilient backup power for homes, businesses and communities.

Hydrogen-Powered Power Plants

BLOOH systems produce hydrogen via electrolysis and store it in quantity on site. Electricity is generated with fuel cells and delivered through power-conditioning equipment, while heat recovery captures useful thermal energy. Power-management software supervises output for safe, efficient operation.

  • • Electrolyzers split water into hydrogen and oxygen for on-site H2 production.
  • • Hydrogen storage: engineered tanks designed for high pressures and safe operation.
  • • Fuel cells: PEMFC, SOFC and MCFC used per application requirements.
  • • Power conditioning converts DC to grid-ready AC.
  • • Heat recovery enables CHP for heating/cooling or process needs.
  • • Power management maintains reliability and safety to end users.

Fuel Cell Technologies

PEM Fuel Cells (PEMFC) — fast start, compact, low temperature operation.

  • • Efficiency ~40–60 % | Operating temp ≈60–80 °C
  • • Start-up: seconds | Shut-down: seconds
  • • Primary uses: backup power, emergency generators, portable systems

Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) — very high efficiency for larger loads.

  • • Efficiency ~60–85 % | Operating temp ≈800–1,000 °C
  • • Start-up: minutes to hours | Shut-down: hours to days
  • • Primary uses: industrial and large-scale power generation

Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells (MCFC) — high-temperature with cogeneration potential.

  • • Efficiency ~50–60 % | Operating temp ≈600–700 °C
  • • Start-up: minutes to hours | Shut-down: hours to days
  • • Primary uses: large-scale generation and CHP

Green Hydrogen Storage — Technical Overview

  • Compressed H2 tanks: scalable capacity (up to thousands of m³); fast recharge (minutes–hours); lifetime on the order of decades; zero direct emissions.
  • Liquid hydrogen (LH2): high volumetric density for larger sites; recharge typically hours to days; long service life; zero direct emissions.
  • Metal hydrides: solid-state storage; recharge hours to days; typical lifetime years; zero direct emissions.

BLOOH integrates hydrogen production, storage and fuel-cell generation into modular systems that can balance the grid and provide clean contingency power with near-zero local emissions.
